MAXIMUS Webinar Advises HR Professionals of Important Form I-9 Updates and Features U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Experts

The free, 90-minute webinar is a continuation of compliance best practice events hosted by MAXIMUS Tax Credit and Employer Services. These events bring together HR executives, managers and recruiters to keep them informed about updates to the Form I-9, which include new fields, new formatting to reduce errors, and simplified instructions for both employees and employers. The new Form I-9 took effect on March 8, 2013 and all employers are required to use it as of May 7, 2013.

Webinar attendees will learn about the changes on Form I-9 and how it impacts their onboarding procedures, the latest best practices to ensure a compliant workforce, and common I-9 errors that can easily be avoided. Attendees will further have the opportunity to direct questions to expert panelists, Jennifer Nelson and Janelle Herres, both management and program analysts with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)/U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
