RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MAXIMUS (NYSE:MMS), a leading provider of government services worldwide, announced today that it has been awarded the contract to operate the Idaho Employment and Training Services Program. The Idaho Employment and Training Services Program provides services to individuals statewide who are participants in the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program in Idaho. Under the contract, MAXIMUS will help program participants get the skills and experience they need to obtain long-term employment in order to achieve economic independence. The Company will partner with participants, families, local community stakeholders and employers to deliver a holistic approach that is person-centric, industry-sector focused and dedicated to making a positive difference for communities across Idaho.
