MAXIMUS Contributes $90,000 to Haiti Earthquake Relief


RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MAXIMUS (NYSE:MMS), a leading provider of government services, announced today that it has made a donation of $90,000 in employee contributions and corporate matching funds to Project HOPE to aid the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

“In keeping with our organizational commitment to social responsibility, all of us at MAXIMUS want to do our part to help the many children and families of Haiti in dire need of medical care, food, water, and shelter,” commented MAXIMUS CEO Richard Montoni. “We appreciate the outpouring of compassion and support from our employees, and we are honored to make this contribution to Project HOPE.”

Donations provided by MAXIMUS have helped Project HOPE to mobilize staff members and medical volunteers to Haiti, including the 36 volunteer nurses and doctors serving onboard the USNS Comfort. In addition, the funds will help Project HOPE continue to make regular shipments of supplies and medicines over the coming weeks and months. Project HOPE has worked in Haiti for the past two decades to provide both humanitarian assistance and health programs.
