MAXIMUS Federal Appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 5 for Services

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MAXIMUS (NYSE:MMS), a leading provider of government services worldwide, announced today that MAXIMUS Federal has been appraised at Maturity Level 5 (ML5) of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®. CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with a model to gauge the effectiveness of its core business practices and identify areas for improvement.

MAXIMUS Federal achieved ML5 for the service establishment and management of services, one of the three areas of interest within the CMMI framework. ML5 is the highest CMMI appraisal rating and is reserved for organizations that demonstrate true process optimization. ML5 organizations are recognized for quality consciousness and geared for continuous improvement.

Per the SEI, operating at ML4 or higher in two areas of interest demonstrates MAXIMUS Federal’s ability to operate as a Highly Matured Organization.
