MAXIMUS Supports Tornado Relief Efforts in Oklahoma with Donation to the American Red Cross

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MAXIMUS (NYSE: MMS), a leading provider of government services worldwide, announced today that the MAXIMUS Foundation has made a donation of $21,860 to the American Red Cross to support its response to the devastating tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma.

As soon as our employees heard about the tornado they quickly donated to show support to the victims of this disaster," commented MAXIMUS Foundation Chairman John F. In Oklahoma, the American Red Cross has provided thousands in Moore, Shawnee and other devastated communities with a safe place to stay, a warm meal, relief supplies and emotional support. According to the American Red Cross, and its partners, they have served 141,000 snacks and meals; distributed more than 29,000 relief items like disaster clean-up kits; and provided over 6,300 health services and mental health checks. Shelters and relief centers are still open for those displaced by the events.
