RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MAXIMUS (NYSE: MMS), a leading provider of government services worldwide, announced today that one of the Company’s Medicaid subject matter experts will be a featured presenter at the National Association for Medicaid Program Integrity (NAMPI) Conference.
Josh Ruminski, Vice President of Operations for MAXIMUS Health Services, will be presenting at the session titled "Best Practices for Accurately Determining and Verifying Eligibility." Mr. Ruminski’s session will explore the challenges states face in maintaining accurate eligibility profiles as they continue to enroll millions of consumers into their Medicaid programs as part of the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Mr. Ruminski will offer insights into how states can determine and verify eligibility in a way that will both ease administrative burden, as well as introduce a higher level of program integrity in eligibility determinations.
"With the influx of new health insurance consumers from the ACA implementation, it is important for states to ensure that the eligibility of both new and existing Medicaid beneficiaries is determined accurately and efficiently,” said Bruce Caswell, President and General Manager of Health Services at MAXIMUS. “We look forward to sharing how states can implement a cost-effective plan to validate and verify beneficiary eligibility in their Medicaid program.”
The 30th Annual NAMPI Conference is the premier Medicaid integrity conference in the United States and takes place August 3-6, 2014 at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas. To learn more, visit https://nampi.net/index.php/annual-conference.
