MAXIMUS Foundation Announces Support to a Record Number of Nonprofit Grantees

(RESTON, VA. – January 09, 2018) – MAXIMUS (NYSE: MMS), a leading provider of government services worldwide, announced today that the MAXIMUS Foundation has distributed more than $590,000 in grants to 248 nonprofit organizations in 36 states as part of its fall grant cycle. As the philanthropic arm of MAXIMUS, the Foundation extends the mission of the Company by partnering with nonprofits that support the same populations and communities served by the public programs the Company operates. MAXIMUS and its employees completely fund the MAXIMUS Foundation, which provides grants to local community organizations with programs and projects in the areas of health, child and youth development, and community development.

MAXIMUS also operates charitable foundations in the United Kingdom and Australia. MAXIMUS Foundation UK recently concluded their sixth grant cycle. Since 2015, it has supported more than 60 organizations that help disadvantaged populations through improved employment opportunities, health outcomes, and community development. The MAX Foundation in Australia launched its grant program in 2017, making awards to 14 nonprofits to date.
